Catching Up: Hilton Head, SC to Shipshewana, IN
Well, somehow it’s the end of July, and our blog is still stuck in mid-May, so it’s time to catch up! After leaving the Georgia mountains in May, we went to Hilton Head National RV Resort for a Brinkley RV Rally. This was actually our second rally, as we attended one at Talona Ridge in Ellijay, GA last fall. We’re still undecided about how much we enjoy these, but it is a good time to get some maintenance and TLC on our rig, so I keep signing up for them. Visiting an Old Favorite: Charleston, SC
We’ve been to and through South Carolina many times, even to Charleston a handful of times, but this was our first visit during our RV travels. Charleston is undeniably one of the best Southern cities to visit, and we are always happy to spend time there. We stayed in the campground at James Island County Park. It offers full hookups and is located in a fabulous park, right outside Charleston and close to Folly Beach.
